Based on the campus of the University of Waikato 4 kms from the heart of Hamilton, the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts is an award-winning arts centre with two purpose-built performance venues - the Dr John Gallagher Concert Chamber and the Playhouse Theatre.
The Concert Chamber is recognized by both national and international musicians as one of the most acoustically satisfying venues in New Zealand. The Playhouse Theatre is a flexible, multi-use, flat floor theatre, ideal for a wide range of events including theatre and dance performances, cabaret, live bands, fashion shows, academic and corporate conferences, formal dinners and business expos.
