Crunch Time is a hi-tech, interactive dinner party that plays with the idea of democracy. Diners sit around a projection mapped dining table and use custom-built live voting system to select the ingredients to be used in an elaborate five course meal. Broadcasting via live-stream video from a nearby kitchen, local politicians, artistic directors and CEOs serve up the culinary requests in real time…with dangerously unpredictable results.
Maple syrup in the pasta? Chocolate on the bacon? Sometimes it’s rude not to talk politics at the dinner table.
