Short Synopsis

Funny, witty, and ever-seeking, "The Book of Clown" is an intricate one-hour clown-theatre show that takes the audience on a mythological journey as two clowns discover a universe of hidden dimensions and identity.

Composed of 7 acts, the show brings the audience on a whirlwind journey through multiple worlds, colors, aesthetics, and characters, each seeking something - whether it be money, career, a way back home, or spirituality. The characters don "different hats" in order to explore their worlds and ultimately to find their identity.

The show is full of physical and verbal comedy, however there is a deeper thread that runs through it. As the show progresses and we become swept through an unknown universe, it becomes clearer what connects us as humans. We are all searching for something bigger than ourselves. The confusion, chaos, and inevitable humour occurs when we try to determine what we are seeking.

Reviews Feature

"Whether acting together or separately, Emily and Sang were a joy to watch: slick, dynamic, fun and generating a tremendous energy that made you feel good to be alive. I think they really should take what they've got there, bottle it and sell it."
