CLIFTON MOOREBROOK PRODUCTIONS
Clifton Moorebrook Productions is a Melbourne-based organisation focused on creating and presenting themed musical tribute shows with spoken content. The company comprises singer/actor/writer Jane Clifton, drummer Clare Moore and bassist Rosie Westbrook. Between the 3 of us we have racked up over 5 decades in the entertainment industry, both on-stage and behind the scenes. We know how to put on a show and have both the artistic and practical experience to ensure that our shows are fully professional, accessible to a wide audience and easy to mount.
We are 3 experienced showbiz professionals intent on creating and presenting shows with wide appeal and requiring minimum technical requirements. We are 3 women keen to present shows with female content and creating job opportunities for women.
Our shows are band-based, comprised primarily of ourselves and other musicians when required. We only hire musicians with the same level of experience as ourselves - musicians with extensive touring experience who can adjust to any venue with the mimimum of technical fuss and the maximum of performance excellence. Our shows feature well-known, hit songs appealing to the 35+ demographic.
We keep our production costs low: musical equipment and musician hire - we have no sets or visual requirements - plus travel and accommodation when out of the Melbourne Metropolitan Area.
Our current production Rock Venus - the songs of Linda Ronstadt sold out its Melbourne Arts Centre shows and its 2 nights at the 2018 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, and is a good example of what we do - create a highly entertaining, musical night out that leaves the audience begging for more from Clifton Moorebrook Productions.
