A Slightly Isolated Dog Ltd. is an award-winning, Wellington (NZ) based Performance Company lead by director, Leo Gene Peters.  We have been creating new devised theatre since 2005.  We are committed to developing sophisticated (and funny), high-quality theatrical works.  We work from our own personal questions about the world and are committed to developing ourselves and the artform in order to make a vibrant and relevant contribution to our community.  Our works have included:

  • 2007:  Settling, STAB Production at BATS Theatre
  • 2008:  Building Strong Families Project with Changemakers Refugee Forum (working across Eritrean, Ethiopian, Somali, Assyrian and Sudanese Communities in Wellington)
  • 2009:  Death and the Dreamlife of Elephants, STAB Production at BATS Theatre
  • 2010:  Death and Dying with Hospice New Zealand, Mary Potter Hospice & Te Omanga Hospice (working with Patients, Families, Staff and Volunteers)
  • 2010:  Several pieces of work with The National Library NZ (working with staff and the public around the Anniversary of the Turnbull Library)
  • 2011:  Death and the Dreamlife of Elephants, in partnership with Downstage Theatre
  • 2012:  Vague Meditations and the Irresponsible Use of a Time Machine (The Edge,  Auckland)
  • 2013: Perfectly Wasted with Long Cloud Youth Theatre
  • 2015:  Don Juan @ Circa Theatre  
  • 2016: Don Juan @ Q Theatre
